I spent $20 on 3 tenders, 8 wings and a sweet tea (chicken ONLY no sides!) The chicken tenders had zero flavor and weren't very warm. The wings had very little flavor and were moderate size... Overall the best part of my purchase was a $2 sweet tea! For that price I can get an entire meal (that is appetizing) elsewhere.

On several occasions I've had to go back, four of which I had to drive all the way from my house back to the restaurant because they could not get an order correct or because they completely forgot a part of it.
My son needed something to eat before class he ordered a chicken sandwich po-boy with a biscuit they gave him shrimp which makes him sick to his stomach and mashed potatoes without a fork or napkins.
Good: Chicken is tasty, so are the biscuits. Decent menu choices. Clean dining room, lot, and bathroom. Parking is adequate. Bad: Small portions for 2 piece combo. Red beans and rice is not red beans, but pintos. Blecch! That is a big mistake for any restaurant claiming a Louisiana menu. Best fix that, Sailor Man!
Out of the eight times that I've been at this restaurant seven times have been incorrect.
We went about 8:30 pm and the first problem was not being able to understand the guy taking our order? We got 2 of the $5 deal to go. I wanted hot sauce for my chicken but the guy had moved to the next customer and didn't acknowledge me standing and waiting. So we left. Got home in 10 minutes, the fries were cold, the biscuits hard and there were no napkins, fork for the coleslaw and no receipt in the bag. I have always been a Popeye lover and stop at Plain City frequently when I'm coming through there. I was thrilled when I heard Marion was getting Popeyes but I've yet to get what I've been used to at all other Popeyes. I'm sure I won't be back unless major changes happen! I'd give a zero if I could!
Store has been open for a while now so I figured that they would have worked through all the new store hiccups... I thought wrong.
I can honestly say that even my wife was a devoted Popeyes fan and now doesn't even like going back there because they screwed the order up every time.
First visit. Delicious chicken and fish. Not greasy!! Tasty sides. Very clean. Fast service with pleasant folks working there.
I personally don't care for the chicken I think it's at best okay but even for that their service is horrible and the people working at the window don't seem to have a clue what the hell is going on.
I've gone to this restaurant exactly eight times now I realize when they first opened it was a total cluster as it normally is when they open a restaurant. But this was more than a cluster nobody can figure out the difference between dark meat and white meat they just threw extra food at you without checking it.
