Great railroad station, I was there 45 minutes to an hour and 6 trains came through the two diamonds.
Great place to watch train's and have enjoyable day
Very nice set up and lots of history.. also a nice place to see trains
Went to a birthday party here. Nice clean room you can rent. Cheap. Kids loved watching the trains, and running around outside the building and playing on an old train they had ourside.
Great mid-sized passenger station (now a museum) that once served the east-west Erie Lackawanna & New York Central lines, and the north-south Norfolk and Western/Pennsylvania and C&O lines. Even with the EL yard abandoned to the west, there are still plenty of trains that pound the diamonds on all lines, with the steps of the relocated AC Tower giving a great vantage point. Today CSX handles the former EL/NYC and C&O, and NS the former N&W/PRR. AC Tower, a marvel in its day, is occasionally open for demonstrations and a caboose and model railroad is also featured. A great place for railroaders of all ages.
