Wonderful Elder-Beerman's store, and the movie theaters at this Mall is only $5. at all times...The Mall will be opening a new Sears Home store next to Jo Ann's fabric, & 2 new wonderful eating places were just put in the mall, & Finish Line store has a wonderful selection in both athletic wear, & tennis shoes, running shoes etc...

While the mall itself is sort of like a ghost town, there are signs of life. Elder Beerman, Bath & Body Works, the Cinema, and Joann Fabrics are open for business. The Cinema shows are $5 all day, every day.

The movie theatre is about the only thing here that is worth my drive to this side of town. Elder Beerman's department store is nice but the empty stores outnumber the open ones. Its a wonderful place to walk that's somewhat climate controlled and has some enforcement to keep adolescents under 16 with a parent or guardian. Recently (in the fall of 2017) the out of business Sears store has been sold but the purpose of the buyer hasn't been made public yet.

It is freezing int he winter and too hot in the summer. Why don't they understand the simple fact that people go shopping and want to be comfortable? There are no heating or air conditioning units in the entire mall and the stores don't feel the need to have heat either. I watched Thor today in the theatre and had to keep my gloves and coat on. Next time? I'll drive to columbus.

Our little Marion mall. I have fond memories here and it's a nice looking place. The community rooms are nice and there's a play area for small children. The shopping here though is Dead other than Dollar Tree and JoAnn fabrics.
