As far as size goes, this one isn't very big. There is a picnic shelter, that has to be reserved through the Marion City Parks Dept. The playground equipment is so-so and the basketball courts are a little rough. It has a softball field that also has to be reserved and there is an area where you can pitch horseshoes. There used to be an ice cream shop across the street from it but I think it is currently closed up and for sale. Not much else in this area.
I only played on the softball/ baseball field, so the rest of the park may be great, I don't know.... but I did know that this is one of the WORST softball/ baseball field I've ever played on... uneven ground (infield & outfield) unsafe to play on unless you watch your every step and then you can't play your sport if your watching the ground all the time...
Ball diamonds and horse shoe pits at this park are enjoyable, shelters are also available for picnics.
Very nice park, constructed play area for kids, baseball diamond, open areas for strolls, covered picnic tables.
Nice park less people there
