My brother Jeff and I have been coming to the OK literally since we were kids. That was over 60 years ago. Dad would have a beer and we would get a soda. We have seen owners change - most have been good - but the clientele and staff have always been friendly. Food is excellent. Glad to see a town landmark still here.
Service was prompt, beer was flipping ice cold and pizza was absolutely fantastic
Just had lunch with Tom and Gary Deeter at the OK Cafe . The fabulous east end bar and grill of my life in the 70s. The new owners have brought it back to life. It feels like the OK again.
The atmosphere sphere is incredible. It reminds me of neighborhood pubs in Phillie. The regulars at the bar watching the game were actually kind of nice, even if it was. Cleveland. My wife had the Italian sub and loved it. I had a calzone. While the flavors were great, it was seriously greasy, and I like greasy food.
We come on Tuesdays for the $5 calzone. My wife and I split a small bud salad and a calzone. I drink a couple Yuengling drafts and the wife drinks water. Bill is $17 and change. Lindsay behind the bar knows us and draws my first draft when we walk in.
